Within walking distance is the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Jackie Gleason Theater, Lincoln Road shopping mall, fabulous restaurants, more shopping, and much of the great nightlife South Beach is famous for. The hotel is just two blocks from Ocean Drive and the beautiful Miami Beach. ROOMS The rooms are medium in size, and are all decorated in light earth tone colors. The furnishings are made of light polished woods that go well with the fabrics used throughout the room. The bathrooms are medium in size, have a tub / shower combination, and are very well appointed. RESTAURANT Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, it does serve a continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. There are many local restaurnats within walking distance such as the 11th Street Diner that is a 24 hour American family style restaurant, Lario`s on the Beach that serves Cuban specialties in a romantic setting, and Mango`s Tropical Cafй for flavorful Latin cuisine. EXTERIOR The hotel is modern, and is made up of five very unique 1930`s Art Deco styled buildings that are situated on two acres of lush tropical grounds that include a courtyard and a nice pool area. LOBBY The lobby is medium in size, and is decorated in the modern art deco style that South Beach is famous for. The sitting area in the center of the lobby is designed around very stylish art deco furnishings. Tropical plants can also be seen throughout the lobby. GENERAL This hotel is for one who does not need to be directly on the beach, but wants the central South Beach location, and great value.
